Program Notes:
A Song of Peace is exactly what the name implies, a song of peace that is meant to showcase great joy, whilst also shining the spotlight on the Piano as its own voice. In some sense, the piano player is an angel, and the orchestra backing the angel acts as a sort of bed for it to lay on as it sings this sweet song to the audience.
