Concert Piece is a six minute tour de force for Tuba/Euphonium Quartet that goes from angular, complex music, with odd harmonies and tilting rhythms, to music of a completely different character, a soft song of longing that shows of a more tender side to the instruments at play. It is virtuosic in its writing and is sure to be a workout for Tuba and Euphonium players alike.
